Cavefliers is an action sub-genre that was very popular in that country in the early 1990s, inspiring many authors to release shareware and freeware cavefliers of their own. PLAY ONLINE Vigilance on Talos 5 Essentially a Super Metroid clone, but for DOS. The player assumes the role of Killian Jaraad, a space mercenary searching for his kidnapped daughter. PLAY ONLINE Virus Players control a flying vehicle in this game based on Zarch for the Acorn Archimedes. PLAY ONLINE Viz: The Game Viz: The Soft Floppy One, was a 1991 Amiga video game based on the British toilet humor comic, “Viz.” It was mediocre multi-event olympics-style game featuring three very crude protagonists; the worst of which was a fellow named Buster Gonad who could bounce on his outrageously enlarged testicles. PLAY ONLINE Volfied Taking place in another galaxy, a space pilot is returning to his home world of Volfied, only to discover that it is under attack by an unknown alien force. The few remaining Volfied inhabitants are in an underground location of the planet and signal the pilot to their aid. The pilot flies to Volfied using his ship’s defensive weapons in order to eliminate the alien threat and save his people. PLAY ONLINE Wacky Funsters! The Geekwad’s Guide to Gaming Wacky Funsters is a fun tongue-in-cheek game from Tsunami that is entertaining, although lacking in long-term play value.
